Chinese Nuclear Missiles, Is There a Threat to the United States?
It is known that at least 40 intercontinental ballistic Chinese nuclear missiles are pointed at the United States now. It is also known that at the countries current production, up to 10 - 20 new Chinese nuclear missiles are being produced every year. This number may be conservative. China currently has nuclear powered submarines equipped with nuclear missiles patrolling the seas. Newer members to the Chinese nuclear missiles arsenal are the road medium-range ballistic nuclear missiles and the newer road-mobile intercontinental ballistic nuclear missiles. The Chinese also have various short and medium-range nuclear missiles to support its intercontinental capabilities. The apparent reason for China's buildup of such a large arsenal of nuclear missiles is to reduce their nuclear vulnerability and to develop a solid nuclear deterrent focused on the U.S.

Although China states they have a No First Use (NFU) policy in place with reference to their nuclear weapons, it is clear that they would consider using these weapons against the U.S. if the correct scenario was in place. If China attacked Taiwan, the U.S. would most likely get involved to defend the smaller country. This might provide an opportunity for China to react against the U.S. with some type of nuclear weapon.

Discover in extreme detail the extent of Chinese nuclear missiles and their capabilities, as well as their proliferation of nuclear weapons to hostile nations in the article, China's Quest for a Superpower Military HERE. China is doing everything possible to build up its nuclear missiles and its nuclear presence, proving to the world and specifically the U.S. that they are a nuclear superpower to be respected.
